The Chimera exhibition is the first show of the 2010 Gensler Art Program. The artists represented in this exhibition are from a variety of backgrounds and practices; the common ground among them being that they are recent MFA graduates currently working in the Bay Area. They are emerging professional artists – some have gallery representation and some make work when they can, but all of them are creating work that explores the illusions of the real and the unreal.

The Gensler Art Committee is a volunteer group whose mission is to enrich the community by providing exposure for emerging artists.
